MC Supernatural

Supernatural is widely recognized as the most gifted
freestyle MC on the planet. Only true heads can still
recall how Supernat crashed NYC's hip-hop scene in
the summer of 1993. Within weeks of his arrival, he
would go on to win the New Music Seminar Freestyle
Title, co-host a nightly radio show and land a record
deal with Elektra Records. "Buddah Blessed It,"
Supernat's only release on Elektra, became an instant
classic. What Elektra didn't realize back then was that a
vibrant underground world was about to open up for
real b-boys and Supernatural was in many ways the
prototype. Supernat would go on to display his lyrical
gift for hip-hoppers worldwide, garnering fans, friends
and respect city by city, stage by stage, and mic by mic.
Supernatural has been on the scene for more than 15
years, earning worldwide props for his high profile
battles and freestyle showmanship. Constantly blowing
audiences away with his on-stage magnetism, he was
featured on the Word of Mouth tour alongside Dilated
Peoples, Jurassic 5, & the Beat Junkies, and also
toured with Linkin Park on the Projekt Revolution Tour
as well as the Rock The Bells Tour which touched down
in 15 US cities and featured a who’s who of
international hip hop royalty including Snoop Dogg, Dr
Dre and Jurassic 5.
His identity as planet earth’s number 1 freestyle MC was truly established after he won 2 back to back
MC World Championship titles in 2002 and 2003.
Respected as one of the most gifted emcees in the game, Supernatural has etched a special place in
hip-hip history for his undeniable freestyle skills. Supernatural’s current album “S.p.i.t.” (Spiritual Poetry
Ignites Thought) was released in Australia in February 2006, after a 5 year long wait from the global hip
hop community. ‘S.p.i.t.’ tackles a number of topics with an electrifying delivery and deft wordplay; from
battle narratives, social commentaries, to industry issues, Supernatural shines from start to finish. His
current studio album features some of international hip hop’s most high profile luminaries, including Chali
2na (J5), Raekwon (Wu Tang Clan), B Real and Muggs (Cypress Hill).
